This adorable, well cared for camp on a town plowed road in an absolutely ideal location has one of the only beaches in the area and a dock. The camp is just feet from the lake - they don't make them like this anymore! If that's not enough, it's within a stone's throw to the Sebec public beach, Greeley's Landing, Merrill's Marina, and the Park Store. Peaks Kenney State Park is just 3 miles up the road, and Dover Foxcroft is just 5 miles away for an easy drive back to town to grab any forgotten essentials or a bite to eat when you don't feel like cooking. The camp as it is set up currently sleeps 4 (and yes! furnishings are included), and your friends and family have plenty of additional space to pitch a tent (or several) in the yard, bring a camper, and add some more beds inside. You will enjoy views of Borestone Mountain year round, and all the fishing Sebec is famous for. In the winter, you can ice fish and snowmobile on the lake right from the camp, and you can canoe, kayak, and paddle boat in the summer. Add a longer dock for more boating options. Late summer has historically seen fireworks displays for homecoming celebrations on a barge right in front of the camp, and in the evenings, scents of campfires around the lake will soothe you as you gather around your own fire with friends and family. The windows are all 5-8 years old, and the interior of the camp has been upgraded over time and will be sure to delight. The boathouse in the back of the camp needs extensive work or removal, and is being left in place so new owners can build on the footprint.
