Northlake is reasonably good for those who enjoy quiet surroundings, as there are low levels of noise from traffic - although there are still several louder sections, especially close to the railway line, the airport (Dooley) or I- 35 W. Green spaces aren't well-spread out, which results in them being very hard to get to from many locations in the town.
